Žemaitijos nacionalinis parkas

More than 440 spieces of mushrooms and 280 species of lichen have been discovered in the Park. 35 species of mushrooms and 15 species of lichen are registered in the Red book of Lithuania. One can find such rare species of mushrooms as Langermannia gigantea, Otidea onotica, Lactarius lignyotus, Lactarius scrobiculatus, Porphyrellus porphyrosporus, etc. Rare species of lichens are Arthonia vinosa, Lobaria pulmonaria, Phaeophyscia endophoenicea, etc.

2 species of mushrooms and 13 species of lichens are endemic to the Park.
